brandon & jessica | north carolina wedding photographer

the night before the wedding…rain. not just rain, storms. that would normally make the bride a little nervous. not this one…she couldn’t wait to marry her best friend; the man of her dreams. rain or shine, she knew it would be a perfect day! thankfully, it did not rain on the wedding day until their exit that night! perfect, perfect overcast day :) i first have to say that jessica is amazing. she scheduled 3 hours BEFORE the wedding to have all the pictures taken…ALL of them! i had an hour and half to drive around the area with just the bride and groom, 45 minutes with the wedding party, AND she had all the family arrive early, so i had 45 minutes to get all the family pictures done as well! ALL the pictures were done before the wedding, so afterwards they headed straight to the reception! WOW, that is a photographer’s dream…someone who feels the pictures are as important as i do! jessica is my husband’s cousin, and that topped with the beautiful north carolina landscape gave me a lot of favorite pictures, so please excuse the extremely long blog post! brandon and jessica’s – your wedding was beautiful, and i was extremely blessed to have been part of it! hope you had an amazing time on your honeymoon! love you both :)

my absolute favorite picture:

I can't say how thankful I am that we chose you to do them for us. Not only did you do an incredible job, but it was more special than you know to have you and Cody with us! THANK YOU, Kristian, for fulfilling our wishes on these most precious pictures! We love you! Amy

sneak peek | orlando senior phtographer

a quick sneak peek from yesterday’s senior session :)

seth – 2011 senior | orlando senior photographer

as you can probably tell, seth had his senior pictures taken with greg! i think it is great when friends want to have sessions done together! it does make the pictures turn out a little similar, but it is a lot of fun :) seth was great to work with….pretty quiet at first, but came out of his shell by the end of the session! seth loves loves loves music! he plays guitar for the youth group at first baptist church winter garden. he truly loves the Lord with everything he is! one of my favorite times during the session was when i would tell seth to be serious, and he would just laugh…and then i got to capture the real smile :)

greg – 2011 senior | orlando senior photographer

i had the great pleasure of taking greg’s senior pictures. i had never met greg before, but got to know him a little bit during his shoot! he is a very gifted young man. he is in a band and plays the guitar and sings. he has a heart for the Lord and is very involved in his church. he has a passion for music….and laughter :) he is also a huge supporter of to write love on her arms! i don’t know what greg will do with his life, but i know the Lord has an awesome plan for him! here are my favorites from the day…

massey wedding | orlando wedding photographer

i feel like i maybe should have split this post up into two because i loved so many parts of the day!

danielle coon married daniel massey on august 7, 2010! it was a beautiful wedding! the bride and bridesmaids got ready at the edgewater hotel in downtown winter garden! the wedding was held at the garden theatre, and the reception was upstairs! the bridal party was a blast, and the dance floor was never empty!

i have to tell you about a couple of the vendors who were AMAZING! the first is shannon tarrant of big city catering. the food was absolutely fabulous, but so was shannon. she went above and beyond her catering duties…she also filled the shoes of wedding planner. she made sure everything at the reception ran smoothly. if you want a caterer who delivers delicious food, a great experience, and goes above and beyond, big city catering is definitely the way to go! the second vendor that blew me out of the water was the dj. jonathan proto is the owner of the dj doctor co. this company was established four years ago as a small dj company, and now have a full team of staff members and dj’s. jonathan was the dj at the wedding…he is 18 years old, and established this business four years ago! he is every bit professional, and made the reception fun for all age groups! if you need a dj for any of your events, dj doctor company is the way to go.

danielle and daniel, i hope you had an amazing honeymoon in jamaica!

their precious little girl was part of the wedding!

yes, he pulled it all the way off with his teeth! the rag on the floor was to wipe off her dirty foot first ;)

he finally got on the dance floor!

some of the amazing food:

August 11, 2010 - 10:22 AM Robin Walker - Kristian, These are really good, You did a great job... Can't wait to see more. I know your Bride & Groom loved them....

jenna | orlando portrait photographer

let me start off by saying that jenna is scared of bugs….petrified is probably a more accurate description! little did she know that she was not only coming to have her picture taken, but she was going to overcome her fear of bugs! pretty much everywhere i shoot there is some kind of bug. it wasn’t until she was asked to stand in the grass right next to some odd little red bugs that she freaked! after some deep breathing exercises, we did a 1….2….3….GO, and she stood there and turned on the charm! you never would know that she was scared to death! jenna – i had an absolute blast on this shoot with you! i hope you love your pictures…and that you are a little less scared of bugs now ;)

June 18, 2010 - 8:56 PM lyndsay hyatt-almeida - poor girl. at least you helped her conquer her fear-haha! and i think she'll agree that it was worth it when she sees these pics. :)
