Soooooo……this past Wednesday I went on a journey. A journey to Jacksonville. Wednesday morning I woke up, got ready, went and picked up my road trip buddy (Mom!), and we were off to Jax for the day! Two questions, I know, I know….why did we go to Jacksonville, and why am I telling you about it?!? Well…
The extremely, uh-MAZINGLY talented photographer, Lyndsay Almeida of Pink Coffee PhotoArt hosted a contest on her blog last month to win a free mentoring session with her. Surprisingly…I won! SO exciting! I can’t remember the last time I won anything, and especially something of this value! So….this is why I went on a journey to Jax! (Mom just likes to come along for the ride!)
Once I got there, I got to spend some quality time with Lyndsay; picking her brain and learning all that I possibly could in the amount of time we had! We talked, and talked, and talked some more! She took some head shots of me..eeeek! And then we went and met a couple to shoot their Engagement Session! I would just like to take a minute and say that if you are a photographer, you NEED to book a mentoring session with Lyndsay. That’s right….NEED! She is not only an uh-MAZING photographer full of great information, but she is an incredible, talented, fun-loving, spunky woman whose love for life is contagious, and you will certainly benefit from every minute you spend with her!
Lyndsay, thank you for the awesome opportunity to come and learn from you. I not only gained a mentor that day, but I gained a friend! I had an absolute blast with you, and I can’t wait to hang out with you again! You helped me more than you will ever know
